Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What ages is North Shore Bike Park suitable for?
North Shore Bike Park is open to riders of all ages, from toddlers to adults. The park is designed to accommodate beginners through advanced riders, with guidelines in place to help keep younger children safe around older or more confident riders.

  2. Do we have to reserve a time to ride when we buy passes?
No.  All Day Passes, Memberships, etc are “Ride All Day” and so you can show up at any time and leave any time.  We do recommend younger riders arrive in the first few hours after we open to make use of the park before it gets busy and bigger riders arrive.  But otherwise you should feel free to join us when it’s convenient.

  3. Are there special rules for children aged 7 and under?
Yes. Children aged 7 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian at arm’s length at all times while on the terrain floor. This ensures their safety and helps prevent conflicts with other riders.  The Lil’ Shredders Zone is intended for our smallest riders, skaters, scooter’ers, or those who are learning and includes small terrain objects to experiment with to learn balance, technique and gain confidence.

  4. Can parents drop off their children and leave the park?
For riders aged 7 and under, parents must remain on the terrain floor at arm's length or at least close enough to manage the safety of their child and tend to them if needed.

Children aged 8–12 may be dropped off by a parent, provided the parent's contact information is on file and the child is checked in by the parent or guardian.

Riders aged 13 and up may attend independently without a parent present.
