TERMS & CONDITIONS

Everyone, without exception, is invited to North Shore Bike Park to have fun and ensure everyone around you is having fun. At no time should your actions impose on any other guest's experience in a negative way.

These terms and conditions apply to all persons entering the premises of North Shore Bike Park ("the Park"), including riders, spectators, and event attendees ("Users").
 

  1. Condition of Entry: Entry into the Park is conditional upon acceptance of all terms, conditions, and rules outlined herein. Payment for and use of Park facilities constitutes acceptance of these conditions.

  2. Revocable License: Access to the Park is a revocable license. The Park reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any User from the premises at any time, without refund, for conduct that is unsafe, unruly, or violates Park policy.

  3. Proof of Entry: All Users who intend to ride must possess and display a valid ticket, season pass, or event wristband at all times. Failure to produce valid proof of entry upon request by Park staff may result in removal from the Park.

  4. Non-Transferable Access: All Park access products (including but not limited to day passes, season passes, and event entries) are for personal use by the registered individual only and are strictly non-transferable.

Assumption of Risk & Liability
  1. Inherent Dangers: The User acknowledges that riding or skating in a bike park is an inherently dangerous activity with risks of serious injury, paralysis, or death. Risks include, but are not limited to, falls, collisions, equipment failure, and variations in terrain and man-made features. All Users voluntarily assume all risks associated with being on Park premises.

  2. Mandatory Liability Waiver: All riders must execute a valid North Shore Bike Park Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement ("Waiver") prior to using any terrain or features. No exceptions will be made.

  3. Personal Health & Fitness: Riders confirm they are in good physical condition and are not under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or any substance that impairs judgment or physical ability. Users are responsible for recognizing their own skill level and riding accordingly.

Protective Equipment & Vehicle Requirements
  1. Helmets Mandatory: Every rider must wear a certified bicycle helmet at all times while riding. Full-face helmets are strongly recommended.

  2. Protective Gear Recommended: The use of other protective equipment is strongly recommended, including full-finger gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, and body armour.

  3. Equipment Condition: Riders are solely responsible for ensuring their bicycle and other equipment are in good working condition and are appropriate for the demanding nature of the Park's terrain. See the web site for current policies at https://www.northshorebikepark.ca/bring-your-own 

  4. No electric or motor powered vehicles are allowed in the park at any time.  This includes vehicles with a battery removed.

Park Rules & User Conduct

Minors (Users Under 19 Years of Age)
  1. Parent/Guardian Consent: Users under the age of 19 in British Columbia must have the Park's official Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.

  2. Supervision: The Park requires that all children under the age of 8 be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times who is no more than a few steps away. All riders aged 12 and under must have a guardian present within the building. There are no exceptions. These riders may be removed from the terrain floor at any time if not under supervision.

Miscellaneous
  1. Personal Property: Users are responsible for their personal property. The Park is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

  2. Media Release: By entering the Park, the User grants North Shore Bike Park the unrestricted right to use their likeness in any photograph, video, or other media recording for any legal purpose, including promotional and commercial use, without compensation.

  3. Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
