And a call-out for Electrical Help!

ree

Thank you to everyone who has answered the surveys we’ve sent out over the last week. We are interested in all feedback and appreciate the glowing ratings most guests have provided. At the same time, please don’t be shy about being critical—honest feedback is what lets us know what we should be prioritizing.

Prioritizing Warmth

One of the most frequent responses (albeit predictable given the season!) is the need to heat the two mezzanines: the Birthday Mezzanine and the Lounge. While riders stay warm navigating the terrain, we know spectators and parents need a comfortable environment to relax.

We installed heaters in the upper mezzanine as a first step. Unfortunately, the increased load immediately tripped our breakers, making it clear that our current electrical setup needs an upgrade to handle the heat. So to that end....

We Need an Electrician!

We are always working on a tight budget at North Shore Bike Park, but fixing this heating issue is one of our top priorities. We are hoping to have a solution in place before the Christmas holidays.

To that end, we have a request: We need an electrician.

We know it is a tough time of year to find trade labor. We have limited funds to spend up front, but if there is a qualified electrician out there who would be keen on trading services for access to the park—whether for your business, your family, or personal use—we are all ears!

The Technical Scope

We require new circuits and likely 240-volt wiring run to the upper levels. The good news is that the panel and conduits to the next levels are already in place, so the infrastructure is there to support the work.

Long-Term Plan

In addition to the electrical upgrades, we are currently sourcing a solution like Lexan or plexiglass to seal in both mezzanines. This will help trap the heat effectively while keeping the view of the terrain clear.

If you can help us get the power flowing, please reach out to us directly! Email Info@NorthShoreBikePark.ca
