It’s hard to believe, but it’s already been six months since we first cracked the doors open and invited the community to experience the North Shore Bike Park in Maple Ridge. What started as a vision for a world-class indoor riding destination has quickly become a home base for progress, community, and pure high-intensity fun.
Since our soft opening, we’ve been blown away by the support of the Maple Ridge community and beyond. Check out what we've accomplished together in just half a year:
Almost 9,000 Visitors: We’ve welcomed a massive community of riders through our gates, including over 3,300 families who have made us their go-to spot for active family-friendly fun.
100 Birthday Parties: We’ve been honoured to host 100 milestone celebrations, welcoming over 700 party guests who traded screen time for air time on their big day.
22,000+ Hours of Action: That’s over twenty-two thousand hours spent riding, scootering, and skating. That is 22,000 hours of movement, skill-building, and genuine connection—and most importantly, 22,000 hours not spent staring at a screen!
Now, it’s time to make it official. We are thrilled to invite you to our
Official Grand Opening Celebration
on the weekend of April 25 and 26!
A Mayoral Welcome
On Sunday, we are honoured to have the Mayor of Maple Ridge, Dan Ruimy, join us to officially cut the ribbon. Mayor Ruimy has been a long-time advocate for local business and community growth, and we can’t wait to show him the energy and talent that lives inside these walls.
Legends in the Building
What’s a grand opening without some serious star power? We are stoked to announce that two of the most influential figures in BMX history will be on-site signing autographs:

Jay Miron Known as the "Canadian Beast," Jay is a 6-time World Champion and a 9-time X-Games medalist who is credited with inventing over 30 tricks, including the double backflip.

Dave Osato A Canadian BMX legend and X-Games competitor, Dave is world-renowned for his technical prowess and "original whip king" status, having influenced generations of street and park riders.
Competitions & Community Events
We aren't just cutting a ribbon—we’re throwing down! We are excited to partner with Replay Boardshop, who will be hosting high-octane foam pit and jump line competitions throughout the weekend. Whether you're looking to show off your best tricks or just cheer from the sidelines, the energy is going to be through the roof.
Calling all local crews! We want this weekend to celebrate everything on wheels. We invite local biking, skateboarding, scootering, and skating organizations to reach out if you would like to host an event or showcase your group during the Grand Opening.
More event details and specific schedules will be announced as we get closer to the date!

Huge Savings & New Features
We want the whole community to join the party, so we’re rolling out some massive deals for the weekend:
$20 Entry All Weekend: For anyone aged 5 and up, come ride for just twenty bucks!
Summer Pass Launch: Our steeply discounted summer pass will be made available for purchase—the best way to keep the momentum going all season long.
Lil Shredders + Airbag: For our youngest riders, the Lil Shredders zone will be leveled up with the inclusion of the airbag, giving the groms a safe place to send it!
We’ll also have local businesses on-site showcasing their services and supporting the Maple Ridge riding scene.

Stay Tuned!
This is just the beginning. We have more surprises and details to reveal as we get closer to the big weekend. For now, set aside April 25 and 26 and get ready to celebrate with us.
Are you a local business or organization?
We’d love to have you involved! If you’d like to participate in the Grand Opening event or host a specific competition, please reach out to us at B2B@NorthShoreBikePark.ca.
Stay tuned, keep shredding, and we’ll see you at the park!
