At North Shore Bike Park, we are constantly impressed by the talent, maturity, and community spirit shown by our younger riders. Across both of our parks, the behaviour of our junior athletes has been exemplary.
Because of this high standard of conduct, we are excited to introduce a new policy that offers more flexibility for families.
Giving Our Junior Riders More Independence
Starting immediately, parents and guardians of children aged 8 to 11 are permitted to drop off their riders to enjoy the park independently.
Whether you need to get some last minute shopping done, head to an appointment, or simply run a few errands, you can feel confident leaving your child in the park knowing they are part of a safe and supportive environment.
What We Require from Parents
To ensure everything runs smoothly and safely, we ask that parents follow these three simple steps:
Mandatory Check-In: A parent or guardian must physically check the child in at the front desk upon arrival. Let the staff know you'll be dropping off.
Update Contact Information: Please ensure that your current emergency contact information is fully updated in our system before you leave. You or another guardian must be a booking holder for us to quickly bring this information up.
Review the Rules: The last thing we want to have to do is call mom or dad and ask you to come and manage your shredder. We encourage parents to sit down with their children and review our Code of Conduct and Safety Rules together. These are readily available on our website and serve as the foundation for the great atmosphere we all enjoy. Maintaining Our Culture of Safety
While we are happy to grant this independence, safety remains our top priority. We ask that all riders between the ages of 8 and 11 continue to lead by example by:
Being Supportive: Looking out for fellow riders and cheering each other on.
Staying Aware: Always being mindful of their surroundings and the riders around them.
We are proud to have such a dedicated group of young riders at North Shore Bike Park, and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow their skills on the trails!
Consider a North Shore Bike Park Digital Wallet for your Shredder
We now offer the ability to open a digital wallet on our platform which means you can leave your shredder a way of buying snacks, drinks, and a hot dog. Wallet's can contain any amount you choose. Just ask about them at Reception.
Thank you for your continued support!
