Exciting Changes for Our Young Riders at North Shore Bike Park!

At North Shore Bike Park, we are constantly impressed by the talent, maturity, and community spirit shown by our younger riders. Across both of our parks, the behaviour of our junior athletes has been exemplary.

Because of this high standard of conduct, we are excited to introduce a new policy that offers more flexibility for families.

Giving Our Junior Riders More Independence

Starting immediately, parents and guardians of children aged 8 to 11 are permitted to drop off their riders to enjoy the park independently.

Whether you need to get some last-minute shopping done, head to an appointment, or simply run a few errands, you can feel confident leaving your child in the park. They will be part of a safe and supportive environment!

What We Require from Parents

To ensure everything runs smoothly and safely, we ask that parents follow these three simple steps:

  1. Mandatory Check-In: A parent or guardian must physically check the child in at the front desk upon arrival. Let the staff know you'll be dropping off.

  2. Update Contact Information: Please ensure that your current emergency contact information is fully updated in our system before you leave. You or another guardian must be a booking holder for us to quickly access this information.

  3. Review the Rules: The last thing we want is to call mom or dad and ask you to come and manage your shredder. We encourage parents to sit down with their children and review our Code of Conduct and Safety Rules together. These are readily available on our website and serve as the foundation for the great atmosphere we all enjoy.

Maintaining Our Culture of Safety

While we are happy to grant this independence, safety remains our top priority. We ask that all riders between the ages of 8 and 11 continue to lead by example by:

  • Being Supportive: Looking out for fellow riders and cheering each other on.

  • Staying Aware: Always being mindful of their surroundings and the riders around them.

We are proud to have such a dedicated group of young riders at North Shore Bike Park, and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow their skills on the trails!

Consider a North Shore Bike Park Digital Wallet for Your Shredder

We now offer the ability to open a digital wallet on our platform! This means you can leave your shredder a way of buying snacks, drinks, and a hot dog. Wallets can contain any amount you choose. Just ask about them at Reception.

The Thrill of Riding Together

Riding is not just about the sport; it’s about the community! We love seeing families come together to enjoy the park. Whether you’re biking, skating, or scootering, there’s something for everyone. The laughter, the cheers, and the shared experiences create memories that last a lifetime.

Building Skills and Confidence

As our young riders take on new challenges, they build not only their skills but also their confidence. Every jump, every turn, and every ride down the trail is an opportunity to learn and grow. We encourage our riders to push their limits while always keeping safety in mind!

Join Us for Special Events!

Don’t forget to check our calendar for special events and competitions! These events are a fantastic way to meet other riders, showcase skills, and have a blast. We love hosting events that bring our community together and celebrate our riders’ achievements!

Thank You for Your Continued Support!

We appreciate every family that chooses North Shore Bike Park as their go-to destination for fun and adventure. Your support helps us create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. We can’t wait to see you and your shredder at the park!
