New Hours & Important Park Update

To our Core North Shore Bike Park Family,
At North Shore Bike Park, we are more than just a collection of ramps and tracks—we are a Family Recreation Centre dedicated to one thing: getting people moving in healthy, high-energy ways.
As we start to trade the rain for some (very welcome) sunshine, we know the call of the outdoors gets louder. We love that! We are huge advocates for getting outside, staying active, and enjoying the incredible backyard we have here on the Shore. Whether your grom is perfecting their tailwhips on a scooter, finding their flow on a skateboard, or pumping through the lines on a bike, we love being the home base where those skills are built so they can be taken out into the world.
To ensure North Shore Bike Park stays healthy, sustainable, and ready for you for years to come, we are transitioning to our Summer Operating Hours starting Tuesday, April 7th.
The New Spring & Summer Schedule
Monday: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Closed
Thursday & Friday: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Mission: Movement Over Screens
We feel we play a major role in inspiring the next generation to choose physical activity over "screen time." In a world of tablets and consoles, we take pride in providing a space where kids can sweat, fall, get back up, and feel the genuine thrill of physical progression. Our goal is to keep our community moving in healthy ways, providing a high-intensity alternative to the digital world. By adjusting our hours for the summer, we ensure that we can continue to be that vital resource for your family for the long haul.
The "Straight Talk" on Sustainability
We believe in being transparent with our members. Running a world-class indoor facility like North Shore Bike Park is a specialized "labour of love." This type of business operates on very slim margins and presents unique challenges, especially as the warming weather naturally draws riders to the local trails and pavement.
By analyzing our attendance data over the last 90 days—and specifically the last 30 (looking past the Spring Break rush!)—we’ve identified the days and times our community uses the park most. Reducing our mid-week hours is a strategic move to manage our costs effectively during the quieter season. It’s a decision made to protect the existence of the park so we can continue to provide the service we’ve become famous for. We want to be here for every rainy day, every birthday milestone, and every winter session for years to come!
Large Groups & Private Sessions
Need the park all to yourself? We continue to support large groups and private use during our off-hours. This is the ideal setup for school field trips and sports teams looking for a controlled, high-energy environment to build skills and bond as a group.
You can find more information on our dedicated school and group page: northshorebikepark.ca/post/schoolfieldtrips
We truly appreciate your understanding and your continued support. Every session you book helps keep this community hub spinning.
See you in the park!
